In this guide I'm going to show you how to build a massive following on Youtube by taking your music videos viral. If your an aspiring musician there is no better place to promote yourself than Youtube, but due to increasing competition and lots of junk content you will have to actively market yourself to get more exposure.
This method was invented by Paschalis in his blog post on how to promote your music so its not something I've come up with, but I have made a few changes to make this more effective.
1) Find Your Target Audience
The first step would be to find your target audience, you'll have to identify the keywords to target in order to reach your desired audience.
You would need at least 15 to 20 keywords in order to get started with the next step.
2) Optimize Your Videos
Once you have your keywords in hand, start optimizing your videos to target those keywords, ensure that you have mentioned those keywords multiple times in your tags, descriptions and titles.
Youtube is a bit strict regarding keyword stuffing these days so please make sure that you don't overdo this.
3) Likes, Views And Comments
Once your done with the above steps your video should get ranked for the keywords of your choice, once that's done you can start adding comments, views and likes to your video at a slow and random pace in order to improve your rankings.
You can buy this service from Fiverr at a cheap rate, but you must ensure that the views and comments are drip-fed to make them look natural.
You should start seeing improvements in SERPs and most low / medium competition keywords should reach page 1 within 2 to 3 weeks.
